Let’s take a look at the 5 types of processing forms of stainless steel seamless elbows
The processing forms of stainless steel seamless elbows are mainly the following 5 categories:
1. Forging: Use a forging machine to punch out the end or part of the pipe to reduce the outer diameter.
2. Rolling: Rolling is suitable for the inner round edge of thick-walled pipes. Generally, a mandrel is not used. A core is placed in the pipe and the outer periphery is pushed with a roller.
3. Stamping: Use a tapered core to expand the pipe end to the required size and shape on a punch press.
4. Bulging: ① Place rubber in the pipe, and use a punch to compress the pipe to bulge it; ② Punch the required liquid into the pipe and use the liquid pressure to bulge it into the required shape.
5. Bending: Bending is commonly done with 3-4 rollers, 2 fixed rollers, and 1 adjustment roller. Adjust the fixed roller spacing, and the finished pipe is bent.
