Stainless steel seamless elbows are connecting fittings used to change the flow direction in pipeline systems, accounting for about 80% of the fittings. This type of equipment uses metal plastic deformation technology to process stainless steel pipe blanks into various angles of elbow products.
There are four common types of equipment for stainless steel seamless elbows:
1. Cold forming equipment: extruded through molds at room temperature, suitable for thin-walled elbows below DN50.
2. Hot forming equipment: Heat to the recrystallization temperature (approximately 1050-1150 ℃ for austenitic stainless steel) before forming.
3. Push molding equipment: Metal flows along the core mold under axial thrust for molding.
4. Spinning forming equipment: Wall thickness uniformity is achieved through circumferential rolling of the spinning wheel.
