Stainless steel butt welded tee, also known as the “three-way junction” in stainless steel pipeline systems, is mainly in the shape of the letter “Y” or “person”. Its three connection ports are all flat grooves, making it easy to weld directly onto the pipeline.
So how to install stainless steel butt welded tees? Just weld it to death.
Alignment: Align the three openings of the stainless steel butt welded tee tightly with the three pipe openings to be connected.
Welding: Use argon arc welding or electric welding to firmly weld a circle around the joint (like a steel tailor “sealing” the joint).
Result: After welding, it becomes a permanent integrated pipeline with absolutely no water or air leakage.
So stainless steel butt welded tees are suitable for key intersections that are afraid of leakage, explosion, and rust. Once welded, they will never be separated for a lifetime!
